Sherri and Jeff Meyer are professional stock photographers, who specialize in off-the-beaten-path travel, adventure and outdoor lifestyle images of Northern California, Nevada and the West. Many of their images are captured while kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and while exploring the back roads in their off-road vehicles. Sherri has even been known to shoot from the moon roof of their 4runner at 80 MPH and from the back of a galloping horse to get the shot!

They are currently building in-depth coverage of the Gold Country and Sierra Regions of Northern California and travel outside of those areas when time allows.

Also included in their files are many “model released” images of active women, especially the “Baby Boomer” generation. Their images have appeared worldwide in magazines, books, advertisements, brochures, newspapers, Websites and more. Samples of their published work can be seen here.

The Meyer’s reside in Auburn, California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills (between Sacramento and Reno), in the midst of one of the best recreational playgrounds in the country! Prior to moving to the tiny Gold Rush town of Auburn, The Gold Country was one of their favorite travel destinations. To this day, it is still one of their favorite places to travel and photograph, but now it is “Right in their own backyard!”
