Any copying, usage and/or distribution is strictly prohibited.
Searching
Sherri Meyer Photography has
been designed to provide an easy to search database for our growing collection
of images. You can browse by category our Gallery
Pages (a selection of our images), or our Photo Archive
Pages (all images in our on-line galleries). We have also included a
search box on each page, where you can enter keywords to narrow your choices. Our
images have all been embedded with keywords to respond to more targeted
searches. The scope of your search results will be determined by your selection
of keywords.
Setting up An Account
In order to login and take
advantage of all the features we offer at Sherri Meyer Photography, you will
need to set up an account. It’s really easy to do. Simply click on the “Client
Area” link at the top of any page. Then, click on “Sign up for a Free Account.”
You will need to include your first and last name, an email address and a
password. That’s all that is required!
Our Website is powered by
PhotoShelter, an industry leader in archive management for photographers
worldwide. Your email will never be sold, shared or used by anyone other than
Sherri Meyer Photography and PhotoShelter.
The Lightbox
The Lightbox
is YOUR collection of images. You may add images or groups of images to your lightbox,
save it and return to it later. Choose an image, click on the small thumbnail
image, then click on “add to lightbox.”
Licensing Images
Pricing/Usage Rights
At Sherri Meyer Photography,
we strive to offer a quality product at competitive prices. Rights-Managed (RM)
licenses are available and fees are determined using fotoQuote,
the industry standard pricing guide for stock and assignment photography. Fees
vary greatly depending on the specific type of use.
Licenses are granted for One Time Non-Exclusive Use. That means that you can use the image for one
type of use only. Reuse of the photo would require additional licensing
fees.
When licensing Rights
Managed images from Sherri Meyer Photography, you can choose from 2 different
methods:
Automated method – when you choose this method, you can license and download your images
immediately through PhotoShelter. The advantage of using this method is the images
are available for your download immediately. NOTE: Not all of our images are
available for immediate download at this time and images can only be licensed
for editorial purposes. If the image/s you are inquiring about are available
for immediate download, there will be a “add to cart” link to the right of the
enlarged image.
Once you find an image that
is available for immediate download, click on the “Add to Cart” link then click
on “Downloads.”
You will be required to enter
some information about how the photo will be used. Then, a price will be
calculated for you. At this point you can add the image to your cart and
continue to choose additional images, or click on “Add and Check out.” Continue
to follow the instructions for purchasing and downloading.
Payment/Delivery –
Automated method
After a transaction has been completed, PhotoShelter
retrieves the appropriate file(s) from its database and creates a ZIP file. You
will be notified via e-mail when the files are ready for retrieval (usually a
few minutes wait at the most), at which point you may log in to your “free”
PhotoShelter account and click "My Downloads" to retrieve the ZIP. You
will have up to 96 hours to download the images. After that, you will need to
contact us if you need to retrieve the image again.
Non-Automated method – when you choose this method, you contact us
directly and licensing fees can be negotiated. However, no transaction will be
conducted below our minimal fee of $150.00. You will be able to license our
images for any purpose using this method. Special requests such as obtaining
larger file sizes can also be done by contacting us directly. Note: it will
take longer using this method, but we will do our best to deliver your images
as quickly as possible.

We offer two methods of
delivery of our images when you contact us directly; via FTP, or a download
link (preferred). In most cases, you can expect to receive your high-resolution
images the next business day, after payment is received. Payment can be made by
credit card through PayPal, or by check
for established customers.
Other Features
Free low-resolution sample images
All images are available as
a 500 pixel low-resolution comp for downloading, if you are not sure whether or
not an image will work for your layout. To download a sample image simply
register with our site, then go to the detail view of the image you are
interested in and click on “Download Image.” The file will be downloaded as a
Zip File.
Ordering Prints
Most of the images in our on-line
galleries can be ordered as prints. They make great gifts for almost any
occasion, or for accenting your own home or office. We use a professional photo
lab for our printing needs that deliver an outstanding product and service.
Prints are created on high quality archival paper, designed to last for
generations.
We are currently offering
our prints in 5 different sizes and 3 finishes.
Pricing includes the print
only. We do not matte or frame. We believe that choosing a matte or frame would
be best left up to you.

To order prints, simply
click on thumbnail of the photo you want to order a print of to see a larger
version. Then click on “Add to cart, then “Prints” and follow the instructions
for ordering.
Shopping Cart
The shopping cart displays
your order details. If you wish to delete an image from your order before
proceeding to checkout, simply hit the remove link on the right side.
Checking Out
You will need to login to
complete your order. If you are new to the site, please complete the
registration form to create a username and password (see setting up an account
above). This information is stored, so you can return to the site to make
future purchases and so that we can review your orders.
Payments/Shipping
Payments are made through PhotoShelter, using PayPal’s
secure payment processing. PayPal accepts Visa,
MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Prints can be shipped anywhere in
the United
States
and Canada. In most cases, your order will be processed and
shipped directly to you or the person the print is for, within 24 hours of
approval by Sherri Meyer Photography. Approval of order takes 1-2 days in most
cases. You can choose overnight, 2nd day or standard US mail
delivery for the shipping of your order. NOTE:
You do not need a PayPal account.
Return Policy
If for any reason you are
not satisfied with your print order, we will be happy to refund the price of
the print. Please return it to us in the original packaging, in undamaged
condition within 15 days of receipt. Return shipping charges are your
responsibility. If your order is delivered damaged, it is your responsibility
to contact the shipper. Important: Save
all packing materials. Failure to do so can cause the shipper to deny your
claim.
