About Us
Sherri Meyer Photography is a
husband and wife team, specializing in off-the-beaten-path travel,
adventure and outdoor lifestyle images of
Northern California, Nevada and the West. Many of our images are
captured while kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cross-country skiing,
snowshoeing and while exploring the back roads in our off-road
vehicles. Sherri has even been known to shoot from the moon roof of
our 4runner at 80 MPH and from the back of a galloping horse to
get the shot!
We are currently building in-depth coverage of the
Gold Country and
Sierra Regions of Northern California and travel outside of
those areas when time allows.
Also included in our files are many "model
released” images of active women, especially the “Baby Boomer”
generation. Our images have appeared worldwide in magazines, books,
advertisements, brochures, newspapers, Websites and more.
My husband, Jeff and I reside in
Auburn, California in the Sierra Nevada Foothills (between
Sacramento and Reno), in the midst of one of the best recreational
playgrounds in the country! Prior to moving to the tiny Gold Rush
town of Auburn, The Gold Country was one of our favorite travel
destinations. To this day, it is still one of our favorite places
to travel and photograph, but now it is “Right in our own
backyard!”
